We are thrilled to announce that three of our dedicated members have achieved remarkable success at the JKA England International Spring Course!
Luca Greenwood (15) has earned his Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt). This is a significant milestone, showcasing his hard work and dedication to karate.
Jamie Langridge (17) and Oliver Sargood (16) have both passed their Nidan (2nd Dan) examinations, marking another important step in their karate journeys.
In exciting news, Jamie and Oliver are also heading to Norway in just a couple of weeks to represent England at the JKA European Championship! We can't wait to see them showcase their skills on this international stage.
All three boys were rigorously assessed by esteemed instructors Nemoto Sensei (6th Dan) from JKA HQ in Tokyo and Sawada Sensei (8th Dan) from JKA Belgium.
Achieving a Dan grade in JKA is no easy feat; it requires not just participation but also diligent practice and a commitment to excellence. A huge round of applause to Luca, Jamie, and Oliver for their hard work and perseverance!
