The JKA European Championships 2026 is complete, and the Yushikai Karate Academy athletes delivered outstanding performances for England. 
 
Harrison Langridge earned a Bronze medal in the Adult Male Team Kata alongside his teammates, performing a strong Kanku Sho. 
Oliver Sargood, Leo Xiong & Jamie Langridge secured Bronze in the Junior Boys (16/17) Kumite Team. The trio showed excellent fighting spirit and strong teamwork throughout the competition. 
Jamie Langridge took Bronze in the Junior Boys (16/17) Individual Kata. He qualified with the highest score in Bassai Dai and delivered a solid performance of Jitte in the final. 
Jamie Langridge – JKA European Champion 2026! The 17-year-old capped an incredible day by battling through a highly competitive category to win Gold in the Individual Kumite. A superb achievement. 
 
Huge congratulations to Harrison, Oliver, Leo, and especially Jamie on their well-deserved medals. You have represented Yushikai and England with distinction.
